A mobile terminal has a plurality of functions which are executed when particular keys are pressed and an address book formed by a plurality of personal information including mail destinations and execution information required for executing the respective functions. When a mail transmitted/received or a mail to be transmitted is specified and one of the keys is pressed, personal information including the destination of the mail transmitter/receiver specified is detected from the address book. Execution information on the function assigned to the pressed key is extracted from the detected personal information and the function assigned to the pressed key is executed.
