Optical glasses consist of the following nine components in the ranges, in percentages by weight, of TeO2 55-65; WO3 15-17; Ta2O5 4-8; Bi2O3 3-6; BaO 0-5; Tl2O 2-6; TiO2 0-6; PbO 1-3; La2O3 1-6. The refractive indices are between 2.15 and 2.18 and the Abbe numbers 16.5 to 17.5. Examples are given. |
