摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tether device for changing a space debris orbit connected to a robot arm for enabling power supply and signal exchange and capturing a satellite subjected to disposal/collection and discharged integrally with the satellite. <P>SOLUTION: A holding mechanism 43 provided on the robot arm holds the tether device 1 having a capturing mechanism 10, a handle 20, and a tether mechanism 30. The holder mechanism 43 is connected to the holder 20 so that the tether device 1 can be operated by the robot arm, and the power supply for driving the capturing mechanism 10 and the tether mechanism 30 or the exchange of an operation data signal such as a sensor signal or a control signal are enabled. When a tether 33 is extended, the holder mechanism 43 and the holder 20 are separated, and the tether device 1 is discharged together with the subject satellite for disposal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p>
