In the present invention, there is disclosed an absorbent article to be worn by a wearer adjacent the skin, the absorbent article comprising: a chassis comprising: an outer covering layer comprising: a liquid impervious backsheet (42); and a liquid pervious topsheet (38) joined to said backsheet (42); and an absorbent core (44) positioned between said topsheet (38) and backsheet (42); a cuff joined to said chassis, each said cuff having a first surface and a second surface disposed opposite said first surface, wherein said liquid pervious topsheet (38) is provided with a skin care composition (72). The invention is characterized in that an effective amount of a skin care composition (72) is disposed on said cuff, said skin care composition (72) being semi-solid or solid at a temperature of 20 degC, at least partially transferable to a wearer's skin, and differing from said skin care composition (72) provided on the liquid pervious topsheet (38). |
