Curved thin-walled pipe (1) has a pipe in the area of the curvature with a separate ring (2) or a separate pipe piece. The separate ring or the separate pipe piece surrounds the pipe in the area of the curvature and it is connected with the pipe. The wall thickness of the pipe (W) lies proportional to the inner diameter of the pipe (D) in the range of D/200 = W = D/40.
