<p>Device (D1) for extracting a round from an ammunition belt comprises a hollow cylinder (2) with a first handle (3) at the top and a forked lever with parallel arms (7) and a second handle (10) at the top. The lever pivots about an axis (6) so that a nose portion (8) engages between a round of ammunition and its holder to extract the round when the handles are forced together. Independent claims are also included for: (1) device (D2) for inserting a round into an ammunition belt, comprising a cylinder and lever as above and a pressure block (13) between the arms of the lever, where the block presses against the round of ammunition and feeds it into a holder when the handles are pulled apart; (2) insertion and extraction tool comprising a combination of devices D1 and D2.</p> |
