<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid joint which can be used for specifications where fluid flows upon connection and to which a flow path can be properly connected even when shallowly inserted into a female side member. <P>SOLUTION: A valve device 12 for the female side member 1 is provided on a movable body 13 which is held in a support 14 in the state of being always energized to a forward position. A seal member 3 seals a space between the outer face of an insertion portion 21 of a male side member 2 and the inner face of a reception portion 11 of the female side member 1 along with the insertion portion 21 being inserted into the reception portion 11. When the insertion portion 21 of the male side member 2 is inserted into the reception portion 11 of the female side member 1 up to a predetermined position, a valve element 121 of the female side member 1 abuts on a valve element 221 of the male side member 2 and both valve elements 121, 221 are moved to valve opening positions.
