Device for ventilating an engine crankcase , particularly a V-engine

The system has bores integrated in a cylinder head and ventilation pipes connected to it for removing blow-by gas. A suction tube is connected to the ventilation pipes and oil separation modules (26, 28) are provided for pre-separation of oil from the gas. The modules have an oil separation chamber constructed in it and have an opening for introduction of the gases and another opening for return of the oil into the cylinder head. An independent claim is also included for a multi-row internal-combustion engine having a V-shaped cylinder arrangement.
