The production of artificial petroleum from natural ingredients consists of cooking in vegetable oils of comminuted forestry residue and waste materials, with addition of natural petroleum (10-50 per cent) and of Croton lechleri (1 per cent). Holding for one month after homogenization, at room temperature, or for two weeks at higher temperature, completes the process.
