The proposed method of pulse-amplitude and time-proportional control of sine alternating voltage consists in varying the pulse amplitude, according to the instantaneous values of the voltage, and the pulse length according to the active values of the voltage. The variation of the pulse length is accomplished by displacing the leading and trailing pulse edges.
