The proposed method for estimating metabolic disorders of lipids in biological materials of children consists in determining, by gas-liquid chromatography, the content of linoleic acid and arachidonic acid in the condensate of the exhaled air, comparing the values of the said indicators with reference indicators, and determining the presence of the metabolic disorders if the indicators are changed.
