The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, in particular - to the structure of the blast furnace water cooling system. A blast furnace water cooling system contains lower and upper zones of cooling with cooled elements, supply pipelines, supply main pipeline, supply collectors of lower and upper cooling zones, lateral pipelines of lower and upper cooling zones, lateral main pipeline and circulation pumps. The system also contains at least two vertical cooling sections, every of which is equipped with gathering main of lower cooling zone and gathering main of the upper cooling zone. The gathering main of the lower cooling zone is connected by pressure pipe with gathering main of the upper cooling zone, and gathering main of the upper cooling zone is connected through lateral main pipeline and circulation pumps with supply main pipeline. At that the system is equipped with expansion vessel, which is disposed above gathering mains of the upper cooling zone and is connected to lateral main pipeline, heat exchanger, which is disposed on lateral main pipeline, mechanism for water incorporation, which contains disposed in parallel pump and valve, which are connected to water source and suction manifolds of circulation pumps and through electric automatics they are connected to the sensor of water level in the expansion vessel, mechanism for making high gas pressure in the expansion vessel. The invention provides an increase of efficiency of the blast furnace cooling and simplification of the structure of water cooling system.
