The technique for replacing the articular end of the long bone comprises the excision of the articular end within the limits of the healthy tissues and the replacement of the defect with the xenograft. The endoprosthesis of carbon-carbon composite is used as the graft in the shape of the articular end with the stem, which is additionally fixed in the bone marrow canal by the stud made of carbon-carbon composite.
