In a device for transporting and cleaning toots and tubers an activator is made as two blocks of driven screws, mounted on a movable frame, each of which forms V-like placement of the screws, tops of which have directions one to the other and are directed inside the activator. The screws have spiral windings, formed by rods of an elastic material, and have the following directions: of the upper pair from the periphery of the activator to centre thereof and of the lower pair from the centre to the periphery. A technical result: increasing the quality of cleaning the roots and tubers of dirt by 10...15%.
