A METHOD FOR CAKING METAL CHIPS

The invention relates to metallurgy. A method for caking metal chips involves grinding thereof, purification, heating, introduction of sludge, binding material, mixing and compacting in the press mold. As binding material aqueous and cement paste of 30-40 %concentration is used at an amount of 4-7 % of the cake mass. The invention provides a possibility of pressing metallic and low-plastic heavily deformed chips and increase of cakes strength.
