METHOD FOR MAKING REMOVABLE ORTHODONTIC APPLIANCE FOR TEETH WITH LOW CROWN PART AND WEAK EQUATOR

The method for making the removable orthodontic appliance for the teeth with the low crown part and the weak equator comprises the preparation of the dental cast, the design and the production of the orthodontic appliance. Prior to casting, the artificial equator is designed in the vestibular part of the crowns of the abutment teeth, 1 mm in thickness. The surface of the artificial equator should gradually continue as the surface of the crowns. The distance between the artificial equator and the gums (L) should be sufficient for placing the retaining clasp. The pattern of the artificial equator is reproduced with the aid of photopolymers.
