A mechanism for the displacement of converter tuyeres contains flexible sleeves, which connect rigidly fixed feed mains with tuyeres. The . mechanism is in addition equipped with mechanism for the displacement of flexible sleeves, made in the form of frame rigidly fixed on the working area, and disposed below the plane of connection of both sleeves with feed mains, on which no less than two pneumatic cylinders with rods are disposed, and these are made with a possibility of reciprocal motion in the horizontal plane, on which H -like rack is rigidly fixed and interacts with flexible sleeves. On the horizontal working area guide is rigidly fixed, in which ?? -like rack moves.
