<p>#CMT# #/CMT# Apparatus for transferring cheeses between stacks of supporting surfaces comprises a vertical series of cheese transferrers mounted on a frame, each having a device for receiving a cheese from one surface and a device for delivering the cheese to another surface. #CMT# : #/CMT# Independent claims are also included for: (1) apparatus for transferring cheeses between supporting surfaces, comprising at least one cheese transferrer that is mounted on a frame and is equipped with a device for receiving a cheese from one surface and a device for delivering the cheese to another surface, where the cheese transferrer comprises a support plate and the cheese-receiving device and/or the cheese-delivering device can be displaced horizontally relative to the support plate; (2) an apparatus for transferring cheeses between supporting surfaces, comprising at least one cheese transferrer that is mounted on a frame and is equipped with a device for receiving a cheese from one surface and a device for delivering the cheese to another surface, where the cheese-receiving device comprises grippers capable of gripping one or more sides of a cheese; (3) transferring cheeses between first and second supporting surfaces by gripping a vertical surface of a cheese to remove it from the first supporting surface; (4) transferring cheeses between first and second supporting surfaces by gripping a vertical surface of a cheese to deliver it to the second supporting surface. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Apparatus for transferring cheeses between stacks of supporting surfaces. #CMT#FOOD : #/CMT# Preferred Apparatus: The cheese transferrers can be displaced vertically with respect to each other by means of a scissor mechanism. The cheese-receiving devices comprise grippers that can be rotated about a vertical axis. The grippers have suction heads. The cheese transferrers comprise a support plate and the cheese-receiving device and/or the cheese-delivering device can be displaced horizontally relative to the support plate. The apparatus includes a mechanism whereby the cheese-receiving device is raised after gripping a cheese.</p> |
