<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system which displays counteractive procedures to a paper jam, wherein the printing system can alleviate a burden on the user to cope with the paper jam. <P>SOLUTION: The printing system has a printing device, and is comprised of a storage means and a display control means. The storage means stores therein a counteractive procedure data group for displaying the counteractive procedures corresponding to a paper jam occurring location of the printing device, in association with a counter.
