<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excreta disposal system which can decompose and purify discharged excreta to separate it into a liquid part and solid matter, deodorize and decolorize the liquid part to utilize it as flush water, and completely decompose the solid matter to utilize it as compost. <P>SOLUTION: In the excreta disposal system 10 which comprises a pressurized water closet 11, an excreta storage tank 13, an aeration tank group 14 in which an adsorbent 22 is installed, a sedimentation tank 23, and a deodorizing and decolorizing tank 24, and is additionally equipped with an microbial decomposing tank 29 for decomposing sediment in the sedimentation tank 23, the excreta is sent to an aeration tank 14a at every use of the closet 11, the bottoms of the upstream aeration tanks 14a, 14b are formed in a V-shape and aeration nozzles 20a, 20b are installed on the bottoms to circulate sewage and atomize scum, and separators 15 are installed in the aeration tanks 14a, 14b. A material made by entwining one or more kinds of fine yarn among polyvinylidene chloride, polypropylene, and vinylon so as to form a mat or loop is adopted as the adsorbent, which promotes the activities of aerobic bacteria and anaerobic bacteria in the aeration tanks to an improvement in decomposing and purifying capacities. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
