PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular driving force control device capable of keeping a proper inter-vehicle distance from a front vehicle. SOLUTION: The vehicular driving force control device detects deceleration of the front vehicle, and controls driving force by shifting a transmission 4 of an own vehicle to a low speed stage side so as to keep the proper inter-vehicle distance with the front vehicle, when detecting a deceleration intention of a driver of the own vehicle. In case that the deceleration of the front vehicle is not decided after a shifting command to the transmission 4 and before starting of an inertia phase in the transmission 4, means 15f, 15i, 15j stopping shifting to the low speed stage side of the transmission 4 are provided.
