摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adjusting an optical pickup driving device easily suppressing a groove traverse output level, in the optical pickup driving device for controlling a focus position by using the focus error signals of main and sub beams. SOLUTION: A step of measuring a focus error signal (FE) obtained by adding together a position detecting signal ("MFE P" "MFF N") of a main beam and a position detecting signal ("SEF P" "SFE N") of a subbeam, or a output signal of its system, and a second step of changing a amplification degree (k value) of a position detecting signal ("SFEP" "SFE N") of the subbeam are initially set so as to specify an amplification degree (k value) of a timing where a monitor measured value is repeatedly lowered, and to run the system of the position detecting signal of the subbeam according to the specified amplification degree (k value).
