PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite display unit of new constitution applicable to various use. SOLUTION: Numeral 65 is a display means properly combining a display means such as an organic EL display, a liquid crystal display and an electrophoresis, and a non-electronic display means such as paper or rewritable paper. A plurality of the electronic display means and the non-electronic display means are laminated, and openably widely stored by a holding means 61 and detachably or exchangeably stored by a binder 62 in an outside cover 60. The electronic display means 65 displays an animation and performs the optimum display in just proportion to display-desired information by properly selecting the display means in response to displaying information.
