PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a video signal processor to display an image while switching maximum displayable resolution according to an operation state of a video reproducing device during output of a video signal to a plurality of video reproducing devices. SOLUTION: The video signal processor includes a resolution information readout section which reads resolution information out of an inputted video signal, the plurality of video display devices which display the video signal on screens, a resolution setting section which sets resolution for outputting the video signal that a video signal input section inputs to the plurality of video display devices, an operation detection section which detects operation states of the plurality of video display devices, and a control section which reads out resolution information previously stored in the plurality of video display devices and controls the resolution setting section, and the control section decides the largest resolution common to other video display devices in operation when there is a video display device whose stop is detected by the operation detection section, and controls the resolution that the resolution setting section sets to the largest resolution.
