PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lime-titania type covered arc-welding electrode excellent in re-arcing performance, flexibility and welding performance. SOLUTION: The lime-titania type covered arc-welding electrode 5 is provided with a steel core wire, and a coating which covers the steel core wire at a covering rate of 25-40 mass%. The coating contains 20-40 mass% of iron powder per total mass of the coating, 7-20 mass% of lime per total mass of the coating and 10-30 mass% of titanium oxide material per total mass of the coating. The iron powder contains 60 mass% or more of iron particles with 76μm or smaller in diameter per total mass of the iron powder. The lime contains 20 mass% or more of lime particles with 106μm or larger in diameter per total mass of the lime.
