PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply enable control of drag force of a reel by effectively using a fish-catching tool 1 equipped with a gripping part 3 for gripping mouth of caught fish and a weighing part 2 internally attached to a gripping part and capable of carrying out measurement of body weight of the gripped fish. SOLUTION: In the fish-catching tool, graduations 10a for weighing are provided in a movable body 10 constituting the weighing part 2 and graduations for drag are provided so as to be pulled out from the memory 10a for weighing in a state which is parallel to the graduations 10a for weighing and the graduations for drag display drag force obtained by multiplying a prescribed constant value (e.g. 25%) to strength of fishing gut used in terms of numerical value of pound exhibiting fishing gut strength.
