<p num="1"><br/><br/><br/>The invention relates to a valve unit (26) comprising a cartridge and valve <br/>holder (1) which is provided with means (6) for joining the same to a <br/>cartridge protecting housing (3), means (7; 36, 49) for sealingly fastening <br/>the same in a hole (10) that is designed for this purpose in liquid receptacle <br/>(11), and a lateral, continuous hole (20). The valve unit (26) further <br/>comprises an interior housing (4) which is mounted in the cartridge and valve <br/>holder (1) and in which a tapping tip (8) and a pressure reducing valve unit <br/>(13, 14, 15, 16 17, 18) are located at the end of the interior housing(4) <br/>facing the cartridge protecting housing (3). The pressure reducing valve unit <br/>is fitted with a pressure regulating chamber (13) that encompasses a <br/>connection to the interior of the liquid receptacle (11) via a continuous hole <br/>(19) in the interior housing (4) and the lateral, continuous hole (20) in the <br/>cartridge and valve holder (1), said connection being protected or blocked by <br/>a non-return valve. The unit forms a valve along with the cartridge protecting <br/>housing and a cartridge that is disposed therein. Said valve can be <br/>incorporated into a liquid receptacle, e.g. a 5 liter keg of beer, in order to <br/>maintain a pressure level in the receptacle which ensures tapping of a fresh <br/>tasting, highly carbonated beverage even at a low filling level while using <br/>little space outside the receptacle.<br/></p> |
