<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a voltage monitor circuit capable of preventing a driven circuit from malfunction by resetting the driven circuit in case of not only a drop in source voltage, but also a rise in source voltage. <P>SOLUTION: The voltage monitor circuit which detects the level of the source voltage and resets the driven circuit when the level exceeds a designated range is equipped with a low-voltage detection circuit which compares the source voltage with a 1st reference value and generates a 1st comparison output when the source voltage drops below the designated reference level, a high-voltage detecting circuit which compares the source voltage with a 2nd reference value and generates a 2nd comparison output when the source voltage exceeds the designated reference level, and a logic circuit which receives the 1st and 2nd comparison outputs and generates a reset signal for the driven circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
