PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic cyan toner having excellent charging characteristics, dispersibility and color characteristics and high image density and to provide a printing method. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic printing method for directly performing printing with toner particles having a colorant dispersed in a carrier liquid by an electrophotographic system, the main feature of the method is a cyan toner for electrophotographic printing that contains C.I.DisperseBlue 60 and a dye expressed by a general formula (1) as a colorant. In the formula (1), R<SB>1</SB>represents NH<SB>2</SB>or NHC<SB>n</SB>H<SB>2n+1</SB>; R<SB>2</SB>represents H or CONHC<SB>n</SB>H<SB>2n+1</SB>; and each of R<SB>3</SB>, R<SB>4</SB>and R<SB>5</SB>represents H or C<SB>n</SB>H<SB>2n+1</SB>.
