PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set up a net in a straight state as much as possible, to reduce mounting work of a clamper, and to reduce machining of the net. SOLUTION: The air conditioner is provided with an outdoor heat exchanger 41, a blower 42 and a compressor 46 built in an outdoor unit 1, and net 31 provided on an opening 26 for ventilation in a back face of the outdoor unit. A side plate 8 of the outdoor unit is formed with a vertically extending back face end plate 19 with an end bent toward a back face side of the outdoor unit, net fastening protrusions 21 are formed on at least an upper part, a lower part, and a middle part of an inner face side of the back face end plate, and an end of the net is fastened to the net fastening protrusions.
