PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin display plate capable of providing uniform illumination and brightness. SOLUTION: The display plate 10 is constituted by disposing a display layer 13 on the upper face of a permeable substrate 11 and disposing a plurality of V-shaped projections 11a or V-shaped recessed grooves arranged about a light source 15 formed on the lower face 11b of the permeable substrate 11. The V-shaped projections 11a or V-shaped recessed grooves are formed in a circular pattern concentrically about the light source 15 or in a radiation pattern about the light source 15.
