PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a carboxylic acid ester of a terpene alcohol for increasing the lipid solubility of the terpene alcohol, moderately without destroying a basic skeleton of the terpene alcohol, in a high yield. SOLUTION: This method for producing the carboxylic acid ester of the terpene alcohol is provided by reacting the terpene alcohol with a 3-6C carboxylic anhydride or carboxylic acid halogenide in the presence or absence of a catalyst.
