PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of obtaining record of images of high quality by detecting meandering feeding of a recording medium and adjusting feeding of the recording medium. SOLUTION: A meandering eliminating mechanism 20, which is structured of a meandering detecting sensor 21 for detecting meandering of the recording medium 2, a pair of adjusting feeding rollers 22 for feeding the recording medium 2 by pinching the recording medium 2 on a feeding course, a roller adjusting means 23 for changing abutment condition of the adjusting feeding rollers 22 on the recording medium 2 and a control part 24 for controlling drive of the roller adjusting means 23 on the basis of a result of the detection by the meandering detecting sensor 21, is arranged in the upstream side in the recording medium 2 feeding course of a recording unit 5 arranged in the most upstream side in the recording medium 2 feeding course.
