PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibrations of a wind shield during traveling of a vehicle, and to sufficiently decrease an obstruction value of a collision body by sufficient deformation of a cowl when the collision body collides with a lower part of the wind shield. SOLUTION: A supporting portion 22B of a cowl outer 22 and a lower part 24C of a cowl inner 24 are coupled by a brace 30. In the brace 30, flanges 30F, 30D, 30E are projected outward in a vehicular width direction at folding portion 32, 29, 31 to be projecting portions 34, 36, 38, and the right and left flanges are tilted in a direction separating from each other at the projecting portions 34, 36, 38 as compared with the other parts.
