PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce difference in density between two projections in a green compact on the upper face of which two projections having different diameters are formed. SOLUTION: At the pressurization face 31 in a lower punch 3, a first storing hole 32 and a second storing hole 33 are formed so as to face a first recessed part 22 and a second recessed part 23 in the upper and lower directions, respectively, and, into the first storing hole 32 and the second storing hole 33, a first compacting rod 4 and a second compacting rod 5 are fitted in a freely vertically movable manner, respectively. The cross-sectional area of the first storing hole 32 is set to be larger than the cross-sectional area of the first recessed part 22, and the cross-sectional area of the second storing hole 33 is set to be smaller than the cross-sectional area of the second recessed part 23. Both the pressurization rods 4, 5 are made into a lowered state, the upper end parts of the respective storing holes 32, 33 are made open, and, after powder is packed inside a die 1, as the powder in the first storing hole 32 and the second storing hole 33 is pushed up inside the die 1 by both the rods 4, 5, respectively, the powder is compacted by the upper punch 2 and the lower punch 3, thus the powder is thrusted into the first and second recessed parts 22, 23.
