PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw engagement type positioning device capable of setting the positioning direction. SOLUTION: A housing 7 is screwed with an installation hole 1 of a baseplate 3. A sleeve member 10 expanding and reducing in the diametral direction, is arranged in an upper part of the housing 7. When the actual positioning direction of its sleeve member 10 is different from the desired positioning direction, a shim 65 is interposed between a receiving surface 17 of the baseplate 3 and a receiving object surface 64 of the housing 7. Thus, the actual positioning direction is approached in the desired positioning direction by shifting a phase when threadedly engaging-fastening the housing 7. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
