PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a degassing device having the same cooling efficiency as that of a beryllium-copper alloy-made degassing device with a cooling pipe is provided while requiring the lower manufacturing cost than that of the above compared. SOLUTION: In the degassing device 100 for die in a die casting provided with a degassing passage 102 communicated with a cavity in the die for die casting, this degassing device is constituted of a base material 101 composed of a steel material and a surface layer 103 composed of a high heat-conductive material formed on a portion in contact with the degassing passage 102 in the base material 101. Especially, the surface layer 103 is composed of Cu, W or Cu-W alloy.
