<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which forms an image according to electrophotographic processes, and can perform stable concentration detection by arranging reading positions of sensors detecting concentration on an electrostatic conveyance belt and on extension of rubber-less parts of rubber rollers conveying transfer materials. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus forming the image according to the electrophotographic processes, is constituted in such a manner that the reading positions of the sensors which detect the concentration of a toner image on the electrostatic conveyance belt are provided on the electrostatic conveyance belt and on the extension of the rubber-less parts of the rubber rollers which convey the transfer materials, and the rubber-less parts of the rubber rollers are arranged at a plurality of positions on the electrostatic conveyance belt and a plurality of sensors which detect image concentration are arranged in the rubber-less parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
