摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an optical system using two or more wavelengths compatible with an optical system aligning the light flux. <P>SOLUTION: The elliptically diverging linear polarized light emitted from a semiconductor laser 101 with a wavelength of 405 nm is converted into nearly circularly diverging light by passing an anamorphic lens 102 and outputted from a collimator lens 104. Also, linear polarized light emitted from a semiconductor laser 201 with a wavelength of 660 nm is outputted from a dichroic prism 103 and the collimator lens 104. Respective light beams pass a polarized beam splitter 105 and are focused on a blue light optical recording medium 109 or a DVD optical recording medium 203 by the objective lens 108. The photo detector 112 detects the information signals and servo signals from the light reflected on the blue light optical recording medium 109 or the DVD optical recording medium 203 through the polarized beam splitter 105. Thus, the optical system using two or more wavelengths is made compatible with the optical system aligning the light flux by using "the beam shaping function" of the anamorphic lens 102 and the collimator lens 104. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
