<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of easily performing focus adjustment and zoom adjustment with a simple constitution without using a driving source. <P>SOLUTION: The projector 1 includes a zoom knob 9 and a focus knob 10 having a rotation axis 30 which is outside an optical axis of a zoom lens 3 and a focus lens 4 and is not parallel to the optical axis of the zoom lens 3 and the focus lens 4. Cam pins 9a, 10a are disposed on the zoom knob 9 and the focus knob 10. Likewise, cam pins 7a, 8a are disposed on a zoom lens support member 7 and a focus lens support member 8. The projector 1 is provided with a zoom cam plate 11, formed of a cam groove 11a to which the cam pin 9a is inserted and a cam groove 11b to which the cam pin 7a is inserted. The projector 1 further includes a focus cam plate 12, formed of a cam groove 12a to which the cam pin 10a is inserted and a cam groove 12b to which the cam pin 8a is inserted.
