摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL device which has a high displaying quality level, a low driving voltage, and a high tolerance to interlayer short circuits by suppressing the variation in displaying due to the film thickness distribution of a coating film. SOLUTION: The organic EL device 1 includes an anode 11, a cathode 12, and an organic EL layer 13. The organic EL layer consists of a hole injection layer 131 and a hole transportation layer 132. The hole injection layer contains an organic film constituent molecule and a dopant for oxidizing the organic film constituent molecule, and the reduction potential of the dopant is 0.5-0.85 V with respect to a standard hydrogen electrode.
