PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarized electromagnetic relay capable of preventing a sealing resin from flowing into the relay, and to reduce the size of the relay. SOLUTION: A polarized electromagnetic relay is provided with an electromagnet block 2 which has a coil bobbin 9 comprising a molded resin material with an iron core inserted therein and a coil wound around its outside, and coil terminals 10, 11 and 16, and a base 1 supporting a contact mechanism having a contact which contacts and separates depending on the excitation state of a coil 21 and the electromagnet block. With the electromagnet block 2 incorporated into the base 1, the base 1 surrounds a root 16c derived from a terminal support 90 of a terminal 16a on the coil terminal 16. Surface regions A1, A2 and A3 on the base 1, and surface regions B1, B2 and B3 on the terminal support 90 are in touch with each other to prevent a sealing resin filled in a clearance 17 from flowing into the relay.
