PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-party speech system and a key telephone system capable of starting a three-party speech without the need for a user to make complicated operations. SOLUTION: A three-party speech information recording section 31 records three-party speech information indicative of a speech interruption terminal interrupted to a two-party speech and acting like a caller terminal or a called terminal by each of terminals 10A, 10B being extension telephone sets. When either of the terminals 10A, 10B starts a two-party speech, a three-party speech control section 32 retrieves the three-party speech information of the terminal from the three-party speech information recording section 31, and instructs a speech path generating section 33 to call the speech interruption terminal on the basis of the searched three-party speech information when the control section 32 can retrieve the three-party speech information. The speech path generating section 33 receives the instruction from the three-party speech control section 32 to call the speech interruption terminal, and when the speech interruption terminal responds to the call, the generating section 33 interconnects the caller terminal, the called terminal, and the speech interruption terminal with each other to generate a speech path for the three-party speech and starts the three-party speech.
