PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a user from recognizing disturbance of an image as before when changing display modes by shortening a changing time of display setting information of a transparent mode or a reflective mode. SOLUTION: A period for transmitting a first display setting information to a panel driver 32 by a display system control section 71 is allocated to a display period of an even field. When either display mode of the transparent mode or the reflective mode is selected, the first display setting information is transmitted to the panel driver 32 in the display period of the even field by the display system control section 71 and the transmitted display setting information is held by the panel driver 32 synchronizing with a field vertical synchronous signal and a second display setting information is held by the display system control section 71 synchronizing with a frame vertical synchronous signal.
