PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new pharmaceutical composition capable of being formed into a small preparation having improved administration compliance of a patient, and containing pranlukast. SOLUTION: The solid composition contains a pranlukast hydrate, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose and saccharides. As a result, the quality of the preparation is stabilized, and the small preparation having the improved administration compliance of the patient can be provided because the adhesiveness is reduced even if the content of the saccharides is reduced by the exchange of a polyethylene glycol contained in a commercial pranlukast preparation with the hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose.
