PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter bag relatively lightweight and inexpensive due to no intervening of base cloth, not expanding after mounting to a dust collector or a waste gas treating machine nor inflating by filtration of high pressure dust-containing gas. SOLUTION: This filter bag comprises a sheet-like felt body formed by integrating card laps containing at least one kind of heat-resisting fiber by needle punching, and multiple linear stitches or reinforcing bands applied to the felt body surface in the longitudinal direction with heat-resisting fiber yarn of a fineness of about≥200 decitex, and the felt body is cylindrically sewn with the heat-resisting fiber yarn.
