PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device for eluting metal ions which can easily control the concentration and amount of metal ions, and automatically remove chlorides and metallic oxide coating adhering to a cathode to be efficiently operated. SOLUTION: The device for eluting metal ions comprises two or more pairs of electrodes made of one of copper, zinc, silver, iron, manganese, magnesium, chromium, etc. or made of an alloy comprising two or more of these metals, and held by holding fixtures made of an insulating material, one wire and the other wire attached to one electrode and the other electrode in the plurality of pairs of the electrodes to supply a direct current, a direct current supply device having a switching mechanism capable of arbitrarily switching between a positive current and a negative current and supplying the currents to the one wire and the other wire, and switches for switching the direct currents to the plurality of electrodes on and off.
