PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an anti-allergen composition that safely and inexpensively reduces allergen, effectively and stably exhibits effect on allergens in comparison with a poly-vinylphenol, tannic acid, etc., and an anti-allergen member. SOLUTION: The anti-allergen composition comprises a lignophenol derivative in which the number of phenolic hydroxy groups of phenol derivative is 2 or 3 and which has a 1,1-bisarylpropane unit composed of a carbon atom at the ortho position and/or para-position of a phenolic hydroxy group related to the phenol derivative, which is bonded to a carbon atom at the C1 position of the arylpropane unit of lignin.
