<p>The method involves introducing a torque into ends of a rotations-symmetric deformation body in the form of a helical body for causing an elongation of the body independent of the rotation of the body. Another deformation body is connected with the former body in a rotation frictional and coaxial manner, so that the center of the former body is axially shifted, when the ends of the former body are fixed. An independent claim is also included for a device for detecting static and dynamic torque at a shaft.</p>
