<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate loss by a voltage drop that is caused by wirings between a controller and a rotating electric machine by improving cooling property of a controller and by miniaturizing its entire size. <P>SOLUTION: This rotating electric machine is provided with a switching power module that comprises at least a pair of switching elements constituting upper and lower arms to control the switching of the rotating electric machine. The switching elements provided in each arm of the switching module are connected to separate heat sinks without interposing any insulator in each drain terminal.
